Hyper-V, Microsofts replacement for their great Virtual Server product has been released. Full 64 bit client / guest support and free on a Windows 2008 Server. Would be nice to get a Vista version but we're not holding our breath.

Looks like Microsoft have just released Hyper-V RC1. It can be downloaded from KB950049. We've been running RC0 on a few sites for a while without incident and really like the functions it offers. No crashes or lockups yet, lets hope that RC1 builds nicely on that.
